(Hidden, do not delete) LC2280D two-phase 110 digital stepper driver

Product Overview

The LC2280D is a new generation digital two-phase stepper driver developed based on 32-bit DSP technology. It has modified the control signal connector from the older driver model, making it more convenient for users. Additionally, the driver includes a toggle switch for switching between 1MHz and 200Hz pulse input modes, effectively solving interference issues in certain scenarios and broadening the product's application range. This driver incorporates more advanced algorithms, significantly reducing motor noise during operation, resulting in smoother and more reliable motor performance.

Driver Function Description

Driver FunctionsOperating Instructions
Operating Current SettingThe output current of the driver is set by three DIP switches SW1-SW3, with a total of 8 levels of output current. For specific output current settings, please refer to the driver panel instructions.
Automatic Half-Current FunctionUsers can set the driver's automatic half-current function via SW4. OFF means the static current is set to half of the dynamic current, ON means the static current is the same as the dynamic current. Generally, SW4 should be set to OFF to reduce heating of the motor and driver and improve reliability. About 0.3 seconds after the pulse train stops, the current automatically reduces by 50% (actual value 55%), theoretically reducing heat generation by 65%.
Microstep Subdivision SettingThe microstep subdivision of the driver is set by four DIP switches SW5-SW8, with 15 levels of microstep subdivision. When setting the subdivision, the driver should be stopped first. For specific microstep subdivision settings, please refer to the driver panel instructions.
Indicator LightsThe driver has two indicator lights: red and green. The green light is the power indicator and stays on when the driver is powered. The red light is the fault indicator and stays on when overvoltage or overcurrent faults occur. The red light turns off after the fault is cleared. When a fault occurs, only power cycling and re-enabling can clear the fault.
Signal InterfacePLS+ and PLS- are the positive and negative terminals of the control pulse signal; DIR+ and DIR- are the positive and negative terminals of the direction signal; ENA+ and ENA- are the positive and negative terminals of the enable signal.
Motor InterfaceA+ and A- connect to the positive and negative terminals of the stepper motor's A-phase winding; B+ and B- connect to the positive and negative terminals of the B-phase winding. Swapping the A and B phase windings reverses the motor direction.
Power InterfacePowered by DC power supply, the recommended operating voltage range is 110-280VAC.
Installation InstructionsThe driver dimensions are: 203 x 147 x 78mm, with mounting hole spacing of 193mm. It can be installed horizontally or vertically (vertical installation is recommended). During installation, it should be mounted tightly against a metal cabinet to facilitate heat dissipation.

SW9: Filter time, OFF=3ms, ON=25ms. Internal acceleration time when the motor starts.

SW10: Pulse frequency limit, OFF=200KHz, ON=1MHz. When set to OFF, the maximum input pulse frequency is limited to 200KHz to prevent external interference signals from causing inaccurate motor positioning.
